Scotiabank is a major Canadian national commercial bank providing retail, small business and commercial and corporate banking services. It is listed on both the New York and Toronto Stock Exchange and was founded in 1832.

Scotiabank has a large distribution of its services all across Canada including 1,024 branches and 2,998 ABMs (source 2010 Annual Report) in major cities such as Toronto, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, British Columbia and Calgary, Alberta.  It also has other channels such as telephone, mobile and Internet banking platforms

For its customers it provides various savings accounts and deposit investment product options. Some savings products include U.S dollar savings accounts, Euro savings accounts, standard savings accounts, high interest savings accounts and online savings accounts. 

Its deposit/investment products include GICs (�Traditional GICs�, �Specialty GICs� and �Index-Linked GICs�), mutual funds and precious metals such as gold.
