The National Bank of Canada or 'National Bank' is a major bank within Canada.  It is a Canadian based bank founded in 1859 with headquarters in Montreal. As at 2012 it had 448 branches across the country including 900 ABMs.  Savings and Investment products it issues include tax free savings accounts (TFSAs), Capital Protected Investments (GICs, Deposit Notes), mutual funds, brokerage, RRSP and RESP education plans.
